Hey folks, I'm updating the tree and am a bit lost right now.

Christine, can you take a look at the family tree and give me the letter that your dad was? I think he was J (mom was Rozalija?) - but I could be wrong. Once I know that, then I can see where else I went wrong. I have the dates for the births and deaths of the original family details (1877 ... ) from the public records in Pivnica. Somewhere something isn't working.

Hi Lydija, sorry I can't make much sense of the 1877 records page, am having a hard time deciphering everything. On the family tree, yes, he must be the "J". I dont know anything about his sister Rosita, but I think she was older than him. I wonder if she was the product of the first marriage? I'll check with my brothers, as I think they might be able to shed more light.

Hi I'm just looking at the family tree again and am quite intrigued. Maybe this is clear to everyone else, but here is what I am seeing. It seems that Franjo's wife Marijo died in April 1922,(aged 38) leaving behind 7 children aged 2-20 years. Franjo was 45 years old. A year later (1923) he married Rosalija, who was 26 years old. She had a son (Stefan) in December 1923 (my father), but Franjo died when Rosalija was 5 months pregnant with Stefan. I know that my dad had a sister named Rosita who was older than him, so I guess she was already in the picture when Franjo and Rosalija got married. That may be why Rosita does not appear in any records…? I'm also fairly certain there was a presence of a father or father figure in my father’s life, so I wonder if this was someone that Rosalija married after Franjo died…? Of course this person would also not be on tree.
