Hi folks, still updating stuff.  I found an interesting bit of info though - was wondering if anyone knew more about this.

A Miroslav Lipohar b 1915/1916 died 1941/1945 and an Antun Lipohar b1918 d1941/1945 from Levinovac - both were listed as victims of the Jasenovac Concentration Camp in Croatia.

Hi, How is it going with trying to contact Steve who posted a message last year? I think he may have some interesting info as I think his dad/grandfather? is the son from Rosilija?? Also I want to find out the history behind the coat of arms have you ever tried to research that? As this would give some indication as to where Franjo came from etc. It is so hard to research family tree stuff in Europe!

Have not heard anything from Steve in a while. It would be interesting though to see what he could add.

I have tried to research the coat of arms, but have so far not got a lot out of it.

Still working through all the internet info out there too :)

Hello all, I'm writing to ask if anyone can help me out. I am the sister of Steve (who I think you're talking about in your March 23 comment). There are 6 of us in our family, and we are the kids of Stefan Lipohar. Unfortunately we did not get much information about our father’s family as we were growing up, so I don’t have much to add. I know that he had a sister named Rosita, and she had a son named Jelco, who died at quite a young age (around 20 I think). Jelco was probably born in the mid to late 50's. I also know my dad had/has a cousin named Irene, who came to visit us in Canada from Croatia a couple of times including when my dad died in 1993. Because of the language problem however we have never stayed in touch. I'm writing because I’m going to be visiting Croatia in October (for the first time ever!) and I really would like to visit some Lipohar "sites" and it would be fabulous to meet up with family members! If you can help me at all I would be most appreciative. Thanks, Christine Lipohar
